Due to its characteristics, properties and composition, KeraOs is an ideal biomaterial for bone regeneration processes.

Arman-New-Catalog- KeraOs® consists of beta-tricalcium phosphate with a purity higher than 99%.

Bioactivity and its composition allow them to intervene in the process of bone regeneration with complete osseointegration and bioabsorption so that the patient’s own bone replaces it.

Description

The KeraOs equipment kit is a set of bone replacement products made of tricalcium B-phosphate according to the international standard ASTM Flo04-88. KeraOs product range meets the maximum requirements of any biomaterial for use in dentistry. The structure of KeraOs is similar to that of cancellous bone trabeculae in terms of interconnected porosity, which allows it to act as an osteoconduction support, where blood capillaries and osteoclasts from bone attach to it.

Bioactivity and its composition allow them to intervene in the process of bone regeneration with complete osseointegration and bioabsorption so that the patient’s own bone replaces it.
Due to its characteristics, properties and composition, KeraOs is an ideal biomaterial for bone regeneration processes.

KeraOs kit features

– biocompatible and bioactive

– Bioabsorbable

– Bio-modelable

– Osteoconductive

– KeraOs® is composed of β-Tricalcium Phosphate with a purity higher than 99% – It superficially reacts with its physiological environment, dissolving and precipitating hydroxyapatite on the surfac. – KeraOs® morphology is based on its structure and its porosity. – KeraOs® shows a micro porosity around 1μm – With an average size of interconnected porous around 300μm

Effective bone regeneration

KeraOs is recommended to be used as a bone cavity filler. Due to its granularity, it is recommended to mix the KeraOs granules with the patient’s blood or otherwise with physiological saline when using to prevent its dispersion in the grated area.
Its high hydrophilic capacity allows KeraOs granules to agglomerate with a moisturizer (with blood or saline), which makes it easier to deliver and to model it in situ at the site of the defect.

Mixing the product with the patient’s blood, apart from the agglomeration of the granules, provides the possibility of adding biomaterials and therefore to the bone defect, the biological factors required for the development of the bone regeneration process because it facilitates and accelerates the colonization. By bone-producing cells, the delivery of KeraOs or its mixture must be performed with sterile materials.
